Last month we had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the international TV series: Ben Fogle's New Lives in The Wild. The 7th episode of this series was filmed in Lanquin, Guatemala (near Semuc Champey, Alta Verapaz) a unique place with amazing weather and landscapes you couldn't believe your eyes. The series is about people who are tired of the city's every day rat race and decide to start a new life in a remote and wild place around the world. This time Guatemala was the chosen one, and met this incredible american man who runs a solar-based hostal in the middle of Lanquin's Jungle. Throughout Airbnb.com our friend made this place affordable even if he is still finishing to build the cabins, showers and kitchen details the place is
breath taking. Our local team was in charge to Fix every production issue it might occur and be sure they had all planned before, during and after they leave. We had 3 vehicles 4x4 with policemen joining us during all filming process, managed to carry all equipment cases (21 pelican cases from the UK) and made sure our film crew didn't miss any shot by minimizing all potential risks and damages and making sure they are in great conditions while shooting. Despite all our organization and preparation, one of our cars had a minor scratch, we also had to struggle one time with a Strike on the road back to Guatemala City, but our expert drivers, police officers, producer and fixer resolved these minor issues and finally the film crew had a great flight back to London UK. Thank you Renegade pictures for this awesome experience. New episodes for this series will be available at the end of this year at: www.renegadepictures.co.uk and will be broadcasted in Channel 5 in the US as well as BBC Worldwide.
